And welcome to my corner of the internet. Well, not so much a corner as a solitary blog post so far but you never know, someday I may upgrade to a corner.
My name is Jo. I am a 20 year old student from Dublin, Ireland, which I can say with a smile because in one week I am leaving it to study in Seville, a city I have never visited before, in the rather lovely autonomous community of Andalucia in the rather lovely country of Spain. This couldn't have come at a better time, really. I love Dublin but lately... I think we both need some time apart to breathe ;) I have some Spanish, I should probably have a bit more, but hey, the challenge is all part of the fun!
I decided to try my hand at blogging for a couple of reasons, one being my existing addiction to blogs and a desire to take part in this whole internet thing, another being my occasional ambition of being some class of travel writer. So here is where I can document my very ordinary adventures over the next 10 months. With any luck, things will get more interesting once I am actually IN Spain. Check back :)
